You want to do exciting work and take responsibility for your own projects starting from day one – all geared to a clear target role? Then join our 18-month Graduate Program and shape the future of ZEISS.  

 During the 18 months, you will rotate between 4 different ZEISS departments across the company's different business units and possibly also abroad. Which departments these are depends on you – your chosen focus and your future role. During the program, you will also take part in several training sessions, workshops and project work that enhances your professional and personal development. All this aims at enabling you to hit the ground running after completing the program – and make you familiar with the basics to kickstart your career @ ZEISS. 

Possible tasks within the program: 

  • work on different topics in the field of People & Organizational Development such as leadership development, talent & performance management, expert development or organizational development

  • get to know HR work from a strategic and operational perspective

  • support within global people development initiatives, projects and programs

  • support the preparation, delivery and follow-up of workshops and trainings

  • take on responsibility for the design and implementation of new concepts


  • Completed field of study in (business) psychology, business administration or similar field of study

  • Practical experience gained, for example, as an intern or working student (maximum of 1,5 years) 

  • Interest, motivation and desire for personal responsibility and willingness to

  • Flexibility to work at different ZEISS locations in Germany during the program

  • Fluent in English & German, both written and spoken, further languages beneficial
